Responding to reports of a dead horse, an animal welfare team from the city conducts a raid of the Fletcher Street Stables. The event is devastating, resulting in the removal of over 40 horses and the destruction of the stable and corral constructed to house the overflow of animals from other, now-defunct Philadelphia stables.
